Chateau Pesquie Artemia 2005
產區: Cotes du Ventoux, Southern Rhone
品種: 50% Syrah, 50% Grenache (50 years old vines and more)

A 50:50 blend of high-altitude old Grenache and Syrah at 400 m on old galets. Nose : A very aromatic nose with grilled and black berries note and a nice minerality. Mouth : The very balanced mouth associates fruit and power of syrah and the richness, the unctuousness and the spices from old grenache.

Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Speciale, Tardieu-Laurent 2004
產區:Chateauneuf du Pape, Southern Rhone
品種:100% Grenache 評分:

93 points Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate (211), February 2014: The 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Speciale is a beauty. Comprised of 100% Grenache and aged 24 months (on lees) in used barrels, it offers a gorgeous bouquet of sweet kirsch, underbrush, crushed flowers and red licorice that's followed by a full-bodied, sweetly fruited and textured profile on the palate. Showing more and more spice with air, it's an impressive 2004 that will continue to shine for another 4-5 years, possibly longer.

Chateauneuf du Pape, Clos St Jean 2008

90 Points Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate (214), August 2014:

A wine I've had numerous times, the 2008 Chateauneuf du Pape has a Burgundian feel in its black cherry, forest floor, pepper and underbrush-like aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, elegant and seamless, it's a delicious, certainly outstanding wine to drink over the coming 3-5 years. Put this in a blind tasting with top-notch Burgundies and shock your friends. Cotes du Ventoux Artemia, Chateau Pesquie 2010

品種: 50% Grenache, 50% Syrah

93 Points Wine Advocate 2014:

The top cuvee from one of the benchmark estates in the Ventoux, the 2010 Cotes du Ventoux Artemia is a blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah, with the Grenache coming from 80+-year-old vines and the Syrah from 50+-year-old vines. Aged 18 months in barrel, it offers a deep, rich and layered profile of blackberry, licorice, underbrush and ground herbs. Showing more chocolaty nuances with air, it's a serious, medium to full-bodied wine that has beautiful balance, a great mid-palate and fantastic length. Give it another year or two, and enjoy it over the following decade.

Domaine Le Clos des Cazaux Gigondas La Tour Sarrasine Gigondas 2006

75% Grenache (1940s-1950s), 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre (both mid-1970s-mid 1980s) from east-west facing slopes with limestone top, clay subsoils on Le Souiras (S-E), whole bunch fermentation of varieties apart, 12-17 day vinification, Syrah 9-11 day vinification, pumping overs, varieties assembled after malo, steel vat raised 9 months, then concrete vat 12+ months, unfined, filtered, 30-35,000 b

full red, magenta and black traces. Supple but full red berry aroma, chocolate in behind, hence depth. Measured, reserved fruit that is entering a dumb moment on the palate. The elements suggest it is balanced, and this cohesion will serve it well. The clean fruit prolongs correctly, the tannins are well set, lend extra chewiness. Interesting wine in the making, can be varied. From spring 2010. 2018-19

From Winery : This strong, warm wine comes from a selection of grapes on exceptio- nal land. In fact our vineyards in Gigondas are situated on the arid hills of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The Mistral blows regularly on these slopes which limits the amount of treatment needed to the vines. The vines grow in stony fields, which is rare, and produce wine that can be kept easily for 10 yrs.

Aromas of pepper, red fruits, are intense and persistent; very interes- ting to discover young. Its robe is steady, stable, the tannins silky, some say feminine compared to the more rustic Vacqueyras. Strong dishes such as deer and wild boar can subdue this prestigious wine. If perchance this wine is not finished with game, it remains incomparable with Reblochon, St Nectaire, and other strong cheeses.

Domine du Cayron Gigondas 2006

93 Points, International Wine Cellar

"Deep red. An impressively complex bouquet offers aromas of raspberry, cherry, apricot, nutmeg and potpourri, with a gentle smoky note adding interest. Supple, seamless red and dark berry flavors stain the palate, with tangy minerality providing bite. The apricot note echoes through the long, spicy finish. A very intriguing wine. "

Winemaker's Notes

Expressing fresh herbs, this wine smells of basil, sage and peppermint, which give it an unusual but captivating perfume. Wild at first, it has a remarkable finesse. Far from the wines of competitions, this is a beautiful model of 2006 Gigondas, firm and capable of aging, but drinkable now.

La Rioja Alta "Viña Ardanza" Reserva Rioja 2007

94 points, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (April 2015)

The 2007 Viña Ardanza Reserva is a blend of Tempranillo with 20% Garnacha, the Tempranillo from 30-year-old vineyards La Cuesta and Montecillo in the villages of Fuenmayor and Cenicero, and the Garnacha from old head-pruned vines at 600 meters altitude in Tudelilla, in Rioja Baja, from plots next to their Finca La Pedriza. Those should soon be mature enough to go into the wine (they were planted in 2004 and they will make it into the Ardanza blend from 2007-2008). The grapes are fermented separately with natural yeasts and the Tempranillo then matured in American oak barrels averaging four years old for 36 months, while the Garnacha matured in second- and third-use American oak barrels for 30 months. The nose is very fresh, with notes of beef blood, iron, cherries in liqueur, some subtle leather and spices plus notes of autumn forest and truffles. The palate is more lively and has some tannins that would feel better integrated with some food or a little bit of time in bottle It was bottled in November 2011. This will be released around September/October 2015, so by the time it hits the shelves it will be more polished. Great value for money.

92 points, Vinous (Nov 2015) :

Brilliant red. Lively, oak-spiced raspberry and cherry scents are complemented by candied rose and vanilla, with a smoky mineral topnote providing added lift. Sappy and seamless on the palate, offering juicy red fruit, mocha and coconut flavors plus a suggestion of sweet chewing tobacco. In a graceful, approachable style, finishing with strong, thrust and silky, late-arriving tannins. While this suave Rioja is quite enjoyable now, I'd give it some more time in the cellar so that the American oak is able to integrate with the wine's fruit.

90 points, Wine Enthusiast(Jun 2016):

Dry, leathery, slightly nutty aromas are more earthy than fruity. This mature Rioja is fresh and light on the palate, with leafy, spicy flavors of plum, tobacco and wood grain. Spicy berry and cocoa flavors grace a fading finish.

Jancis Robinson (Feb 2016):

80% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha. Produced from fruit exclusively grown in the bodega's 360-ha vineyard holdings in the Rioja Alta region, and named after one of the region's founding families. Intense, rich, many-layered vanilla-and-toast nose. This is one of Majestic’s sure-fire bets. Long may this continue! Classic traditional rich Rioja. Attractive freshness on the finish.

Vacqueyras Cuvee de L'Hostellerie, Domaine La Garrigue 2010

Age of vines: 40-60 years. Aging: 18 months in concrete tank.

品種:75% Grenache, 25% Syrah

91 Points Wine Advocate: Traditionally brought up with no concessions to modern winemaking, although it exhibits a touch of vanillin, indicating that some of the Syrah may have been aged in new oak, it is a youthful black/purple-colored wine with elegance, dense, full-bodied power, blackberry, cassis, kirsch and loamy soil notes intermixed with lavender and spice box. This superb, beautifully textured, pure, slightly structured Vacqueyras will benefit from 1-2 years of cellaring, and keep for 10-12 years.

Saturated ruby. Exotic floral aromas of black raspberry and cherry, with a note of pungent herbs in the background. Stains the palate with intense dark berry and floral pastille flavors enlivened by juicy acidity. The floral quality carries through the long, seamless finish, which shows impressive intensity and focus. -Vinous
