Carmen Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Vintage 2012 got #32 of Wine Spectator Top 100 @ year 2015 & Wine Spectator 91 pts
產區：Alto Maipo, Chile 品種：94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Carmenere & 3% Petite Verdot Wine Spectator 91 pts- "A rich, well-spiced red, with luscious flavors of tar, licorice and dark plum, supported by ample acidity and firm tannins. Offers a lip-smacking finish of dark chocolate and pepper. Drink now through 2019. Top Value Pick" The grapes come from old vineyards planted in the alluvial terraces of the Alto Maipo, extremely concentrated, and were handpicked. Sebastian Labbe, chief winemaker at Viña Carmen says that this wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. “It has an intense and deep ruby red color. The nose has aromas of currants, blackberries, sweet licorice and cedar notes that become soft and elegant. The palate is generous and rich yet fresh and vibrant again. The wine has plenty of fruit and firm tannins that give structure and depth”.
Clarendon Hills Hickinbotham Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 (RP92)
Clarendon Hills Hickinbotham Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
** This wine forms part of Clarendon Hills’ ‘Grand-Cru’ classification.
92+ points Robert Parker: The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Hickinbotham offers the most saturated color. The aromatics feature Asian spices, violets, and incense along with expressive black fruits. Structured and tannic, bordering on austere on the palate, it is a muscular, brawny effort that will require 6-8 years of cellaring to become approachable.
94 points Vinous : Opaque ruby. Powerful aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, smoky minerals, lavender and Indian spices. Deeply concentrated, palate-staining dark berry and bitter cherry flavors are framed by chewy tannins and pick up strong spice and floral notes with air. Still quite young but already expressive, finishing with lingering notes of sweet dark berries and candied flowers.
Clos de L'Obac - Costers del Siurana Priorat 1995 年產150箱(RP96)
Clos de L'Obac Priorat 1995
96 points Robert Parker, Wine Advocate # 113 Oct 1997
The profound 1995 Clos de l'Obac, with a total production of 150 cases, is an unfiltered wine that pushes extraction and intensity to the limit. Aged in 100% new French oak casks, it offers an opaque purple color, and huge, intense, unevolved but impressive aromas of kirsch, cassis, and blackberries intermingled with smoky, toasty oak. The wine possesses awesome concentration, phenomenal fruit extraction, and an explosive, tannic, glycerin-endowed, long finish. Compared to previous vintages of this wine, the 1995 is a backward, tannic, vin de garde that needs a minimum of 8-10 years of cellaring! This is a wine with 30-40 years of longevity, but readers unwilling to invest in a decade of patience will be disappointed in its performance. It is an exquisite, classic, uncompromising wine! Anticipated maturity: 2007-2030.
Clos du Val Cab Sauv 2010
產區: Napa Valley
• DWWA 2013:Silver
Glaetzer Anaperenna 2013
Glaetzer Anaperenna 2013
產區：Ebenezer, Barossa Valley, Australia
品種：84% Shiraz, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon
Age of vines: 30 - 100 year old Shiraz, 30-130 year old Cabernet
WA 94 Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Shiraz Cabernet Anaperenna is intensely scented of cassis, crushed blackberries and black cherries with hints of cedar, cloves and anise. Full-bodied and full-throttle on the flavors, it fills the mouth with primary black fruits and baking spices, supported by grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long.
Glaetzer Godolphin 2005 (JH95, RP93)
Glaetzer Godolphin 2005
95 points James Halliday (April 2011) :Deep purple-red; achieves lusciousness, length and intensity of flavour without resorting to excessive alcohol; great balance and mouthfeel; very good length and equally well-balanced oak.
93 points Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate:
"The 2005 Godolphin, a blend of 80% Shiraz (from 85-year-old vines) and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon (from 60-year-old vines), was aged in 100% new oak, primarily 300-liter French hogsheads. It represents a beautiful marriage of power and elegance, displaying an inky/blue/purple color as well as notions of black raspberries, blueberries, graphite, and sweet pain grille. Ripe, pure, and medium to full-bodied with sweet but noticeable tannin, it can be drunk now or cellared for 12-15 years."
94 points Wine Enthusiast (Nov 2007):
A blend of 80% Shiraz and 20% Cabernet, this rich, almost Port-like wine also shows a slight herbal note - enough to give it some lift and complexity. It’s inky black in color, imbued with layers of dark fruit so deep they threaten to suck you in before being lightened ever so slightly by hints of vanilla and spice. Long and lush on the finish. Le Volte dell' Ornellaia 2013
Le Volte dell' Ornellaia 2013
品種：50% Merlot, 30% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
92 Points James Suckling - "A young red with solid tannin power and plenty of ripe and flavorful fruit. Currants and ripe strawberries. Full body, and a fresh finish, although this is a little austere and hard now. Try in 2017 as tannins soften."
90 Points Wine Spectator - "Dark flavors of black cherry and blackberry pick up a pleasant leafy edge as this juicy red stretches out on the finish. Needs time to integrate, with a long aftertaste of fruit and mineral. Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2018 through 2026. "
Mollydooker Gigglepot 2014
產區：Mclaren Vale, Australia
品種：100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Winemaker Tasting Note (Gigglepot Mollydooker 2014): Showcases the best of what McLaren Vale Cabernet has to offer; dark fruits of blackberry and blackcurrant burst upon first smelling this decadent wine. Expressive layers of violet, rich vanilla cream and mocha coat your palate giving way to deep chocolate and subtle hints of mint. Underlining tannins reinforce these complex and full flavours that continue to develop and linger in your mouth for ages.

Mollydooker The Maitre D Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Montevetrano 2007 AG95/WA94+ “Sassacaia of the South.”
品種：Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Aglianico
Robert Parker 形容為“Sassacaia of the South.”
95 points Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate (190), August 2010:
The 2007 Montevetrano is the product of an unusual vintage characterized by hot temperatures that were virtually uninterrupted throughout the year. Bright red fruit, flowers and spices are some of the nuances that emerge from this silky, beautifully balanced Montevetrano. The combination of explosive ripe fruit, richness and finesse is utterly breathtaking. The warmth of the vintage comes through in the wine's generosity, yet there are no suggestions whatsoever of over- ripeness. This is a magnificent Montevetrano. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2032.
94+ points Monica Larner, Wine Advocate (232), August 2017:
The 2007 Montevetrano suggests a more prominent presence of Cabernet Sauvignon, aromatically speaking, compared to the other wines in this mini retrospective. The percentage of grapes used is the same but this impression is reinforced by the warmth of the summer growing season and the exuberance of the fruit. Blackberry aromas are followed by spice, leather and tar. There are subtle notes of balsam herb and green peppercorn as well. The wine is structured and firm but not astringent. The tannins are softly integrated and fine in texture.
Vilafonte series M 2013
Vilafonte series M 2013
Region: Stellenbosch, South Africa
The Wine Advocate : 91 points
Tasting Note: “Kirsch, black cherry, dark chocolate and cassis all abouund on the nose and palate. This is enticing and very plush with a good cherry and damson fruit core. Granular with ripe tannins and although there is clearly high levels of glycerol and sweetness of fruit it is all managed and held in check. The dollop Malbec gives a black pepper and spicey edge to the wine, the Merolt giving weight and roundness and the Cabernet Sauvignon keeping the structure”.
Series M takes its name from the Malbec and Merlot which predominantly define the style of this wine. Series M is sensuous wine with a firm core structure for aging. Malbec provides its black fruit aromas and fleshy texture, Merlot adds softness and red fruit aromas, and Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure.
