Corte Giara 的Ripasso, 即是baby Amarone: La Groletta Valpolicella Ripasso DOC 2015 「Ripasso」顧名思義,即是「Re-Passed」再次發酵的意思。Allegrinj 酒莊以新鮮的Corvina Veronese、Rondinella葡萄榨汁後,在不銹鋼槽中發酵成紅酒,再加入Amarone葡萄渣,在大橡木桶中再次發酵,總共包含70%Corvina Veronese、30%Rondinella。再發酵的做法使Ripasso紅酒有更好的結構,以及較低的酸度,酒體也更圓潤。最後再係 斯洛伐尼亞橡木桶中陳年11個月,有豐富的黑胡椒及葡萄乾香氣,酒質中等飽滿,有櫻桃及茶香,單寧細緻柔美,年輕時就相當美味易飲。

意大利酒評權威指南「Gambero Rosso」最高評價三杯獎(Tre Bicchieri)達20次,名列意大利前四大頂尖酒廠的Allegrini ,16世紀便存在的古老酒莊。今日介紹她一款香氣撲鼻,口感非常圓潤,平衡易飲的中階酒,亦是打入最多國際市場,幫Allegrini打響品牌的主打酒,Allegrini的"baby Amarone"。

70% Corvina Veronese、25% Rondinella、5% Sangiovese,41年樹齡。使用 'ripasso' technique:葡萄採收後各個品種70%先行去梗壓汁發酵,其餘30%自然風乾至12月中再去梗壓汁,然後混合之前已發酵的葡萄汁再進行第二次發酵15日,然後在使用過一次的舊橡木桶中熟成15個月,最後按比例混合三個品種2個月,裝瓶後再陳放7個月才會上市;帶著微微橡木、明顯濃郁的黑色水果、烏梅與櫻桃,然後是淡淡的辛香料與紫羅蘭花香;中等圓潤的酒體與酸度,口中充滿的是葡萄干式的甜美果味,收尾在舌尖上會帶有茶味和咖啡,風味複雜。

What a delicious nose of brambleberries, vanilla, mocha-scented oak, spice box, plum liqueur, licorice and milk chocolate. Full-bodied and rich with plenty of dense fruit and fresh acidity that carries this to a long finish. Almost verges on too much but pulls back. Drink now or hold.

Romano Dal Forno's 2006 Valpolicella Superiore is dark, rich and powerful. Firm yet well-integrated tannins frame black cherries, mocha, licorice and spices in this deep, broad-shouldered wine. The 2006 boasts tons of depth and richness in a sophisticated, sleek style. I was quite surprised to see the 2006 drink
well with just a few hours of air. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2018.

Readers who appreciate a big, powerful style of Amarone will love Zenato’s 2007. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2027.

Zenato酒莊,來自於莎士比亞筆下羅密歐與茱麗葉的故鄉,浪漫之都 唯羅納(Verona),至今擁有50年歷史,以生產優質的 Amarone 與Valpolicella 著稱,獲得國際評審的讚譽。

葡萄採收後,經過精細篩選,最健康的葡萄被放於通風良好的房間風乾3-4個月。榨汁後浸皮15-20天,木桶陳年36個月。這款酒架構龐大,香氣逼人,口感豐潤、濃縮,花香帶出了黑李、香料、皮革、菸草香氣,口感會有些苦韻,aftertaste極長。
