Clos Rene 2010
Clos Rene 2010
The Clos René, located in the Pomerol appellation, has belonged to the Garde family for more than a century. Jean-Marie Garde currently runs this 18-hectare vineyard planted with 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec. The domain is largely under-valued, considering the quality and regularity of its cuvées. The wines of Clos René are well made, in a classical and elegant style and with a wonderful aging ability, while being reasonable priced.
Vietti Barolo Castiglione 2008
Vietti Barolo Castiglione 2008
產區：Barolo, Piedmont, Italy
品種：100% Nebbiolo, 50326 bottles made.
Winemakers' Notes: The Barolo Castiglione deftly balances the open, radiant personality of the vintage with considerable underlying structure. Warm, dense and full-bodied, the Barolo Castiglione flows effortlessly across the palate with generous fruit and fabulous overall balance. The grapes are selected from vineyards located in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte, Barolo and Novello where the vines are planed an average of 4.800 vines per hectare.
94 Points Wine Advocate - "The 2009 Barolo Castiglione delivers a radiant but subdued quality with polished notes of dry mineral, black fruit, tar, licorice, leather and many more levels of complexity. This entry-level Barolo demonstrates that great results are achieved in 2009."
92 Points Wine Spectator - "Features cherry and strawberry fruit up front, with tobacco and earth notes introducing the dense structure and licorice and leather flavors. Loosely stitched, yet harmonious and long. Best from 2016 through 2030."

92 pts Wine Spectator (Feb 2011):
Still tight, with the core of cherry and red currant fruit held in check by a mix of lightly firm sandalwood, spice, licorice root and warm stone flavors. Mulled fig and cocoa notes check in on the grippy finish. A rare backward style 2008 that will need some cellaring to round into form. Best from 2013 through 2020.
Chateau Haut Bages Liberal 2004 波爾多五級莊 RP90/JR17+
Chateau Haut Bages Liberal 2004
90 points Robert Parker, Wine Advocate (171), June 2007:
Another sleeper of the vintage, this under-priced, beautifully made Pauillac exhibits a deep ruby/purple color along with a sweet bouquet of creme de cassis, licorice, tapenade, and spice box. Medium to full-bodied with silky tannin and low acidity, it is a pure, expressive wine to drink over the next 12-15 years.
17+/20 Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, August 2005:
Liquid purple, relatively opulent on the nose. Quite deep and trying very hard. Attractive spiciness and no excess of dryness of tannin. Well managed and well balanced. The only reproach one might make is that it is a little mild and low key - but then so is Lafite. Quite a bit of weight. Very vigorous. Very good! Very fine tannins, there in abundance. It's worth remembering that as far as I know none of the merchants who tear round Bordeaux like me tasting wines en primeur taste blind. My note was made, exactly as it appears above (plus typos), on the basis of a sample of whose identity I was entirely ignorant. Drink 2013-20.
Chateau d'Armailhac 2014 波爾多五級莊 (JS94)
Chateau d'Armailhac 2014
94 points James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, February 2017:
This is very tannic yet polished and firm with currants, bark, and stones. Full-bodied and muscular and linear. Love the length. Beautiful. Try in 2020.
93 points Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, February 2017:
The 2014 d'Armailhac is bright, precise and finely sculpted. Expressive red stone fruit, flowers, mint, chalk and citrus abound in this vibrant, beautifully delineated Pauillac. Open-knit and expressive, with good depth and silky tannins, the wine exudes class. The fresh, invigorating style is classic 2014. This is a lovely showing. Tasted two times.
91 points James Molesworth (Wine Spectator), Wine Spectator, February 2017:
Fresh and pure, but not shy on depth, offering an ample core of cassis and blackberry purée flavors. There's a fine chalky minerality throughout, but overall the structure is polished. Anise and spice notes add range. Best from 2018 through 2028.
Chambolle Musigny Domaine Arnoux Lachaux 2014
Chambolle Musigny Domaine Arnoux Lachaux 2014 (AM88-91)
This wine is the result of a blend of five different blocks all located at the top of Chambolle’s slopes. They have of a north-east exposition which allows them to benefit from nice sunshine. The soil is made of clay and limestone and is very rocky, which confers to the wine this mineral caracteristic of the appellation. The average age of the vines here is 45 years old. Global size : 1 ha 85 .
88-91 points Allen Meadows, Burghound.com (61), January 2016:
This is at once more elegant and spicier as well with its pretty combination of red currant, cherry, lavender and sandalwood hints. There is a sleek and lacy mouth feel to the refined middle weight flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the balanced, delicious and persistent finale. This is very Chambolle in style. Drink: 2020+
Clos des Papes CdP Blanc 2014 WS96/JD91
20% Grenache Blanc,
96pts Wine Spectator :
There's a lot going on here, with a big core of yellow apple, white peach and wet straw notes offset by accents of citrus oil and bitter almond. A hint of brioche shows on the finish, but this is decidedly stony in feel at the end. The elements should meld beautifully with cellaring. Best from 2016 through 2026.
91 pts Jeb Dunnock(eRobertParker.com) :
The 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc incorporates slightly less Grenache Blanc than normal and has more Bourboulenc and Picpoul in the blend. As always, it didn’t go through malolactic fermentation and was raised all in stainless steel. Hitting 13.6% natural alcohol, its medium-gold color is followed by lots of apple, lemon curd and citrus-like fruit characteristics that give way to more spice, toast and minerality with time in the glass. Vibrant, fresh and borderline racy, while not being lean, it’s an outstanding white that will benefit from a year in bottle and have a graceful evolution for another decade or more. As I commented in my recent retrospective article, Clos des Pape is one of the reference point estates for traditional, age-worthy Châteauneuf du Pape.
Chateau Pavie Macquin 2013 波爾多St-Emilion 1B級
Chateau Pavie Macquin 2013
品種： 80% merlot, 20% cabernet franc
93 points Wine Enthusiast:
This is a bold, ripe, fruity wine, perfumed with fruit that's already attractive. The tannins are dry, but balanced with the fruit. A good choice for medium-term aging.
93 points James Suckling:
This is structured and strong for a 2013 with white truffle and bright blueberry character. Full-bodied with firm and silky tannins. Bright finish. Better in 2020.
92 points Wine Spectator:
This has a showy personality, with beautifully aromatic raspberry, blueberry and plum flavors that drape wonderfully over the velvety structure. Alluring black tea and warm plum cake notes add nuance on the finish. This has gained steadily since the barrel tasting. Drink now through 2023. 3,100 cases made.
Château Pavie Macquin is one of the most improved Saint-Emilion wines of the last 20 years. Over that time frame, and especially since the turn of the new century, it has also become one of the most refined wines of Saint-Emilion. This simple truth was recognized in September of 2006, when Pavie Macquin was promoted to the prestigious level of Premier Grand Cru Classé in the reclassification of Saint Emilion's chateaus.
D'Arenberg Dead Arm Shiraz 2005 (RP95)
D'Arenberg Dead Arm Shiraz 2005
產區：McLaren Vale, South Australia
95 Points Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate - "d'Arenberg's flagship is the 2006 The Dead Arm Shiraz. Opaque purple-colored, the nose is reticent but gives up aromas of meat, bacon, game, truffles, blueberry, and blackberry. Firm, layered, and complex, this beautifully rendered Shiraz demands a decade of cellaring. It will be superb from 2018 to 2036. d'Arenberg has been owned and operated by the Osborn family since its inception in 1912. The portfolio, with a focus on the Rhone varieties, is wide ranging and value-oriented from top to bottom. The winery produces a bevy of value priced reds and whites that were reviewed in Issue 178. They should not be overlooked. At the higher end of the portfolio there is one white wine on which to report.
95 Points James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion - "The Dead Arm rarely fails to deliver an uncompromising essay on McLaren fruit; deeply concentrated with levels of dark chocolate, blackberry, nuances of florals and a freshness that belies its weight and power. Good value."
Tenuta MaraMia 2013 Biodynamic Farming 年產15000支
Colour: Luminous immense ruby red.
Aroma: Full-bodied and rich immediately reminding of Romagna and Sangiovese. A hint of wild strawberries and ginger, with balsamic notes and a subtle almond finish.
Taste: The mouth-feel is full and round with thick elegant tannins Tenuta Mara Mia is a small vineyard in Romagna, Italy, which was started quite recently in 2000 by Giordano Emendatori in dedication to his wife Mara Emendatori. What’s interesting and completely unconventional at Tenuta Mara Mia is that the grapes are grown to the notes of Mozart and birds chirping. Nesting boxes for birds are purposely build on the vineyard to encourage them to live on the vineyard and eat the insects, maintaining the balance of this ecosystem and classical music like Mozart played to create an atmosphere of liveliness. Giordano and Mara believes that this creates a happy and thriving environment for the vines!

SENA 2014 (375ml) 半支裝 JS97/WA95/WS92
SENA 2014 ( 375ml )
Blend: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Carmenere,11% Malbec, 8% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot
97 points James Suckling:
Complex aromas of blueberry, rose petal, licorice, and currant. Full body, ultra fine tannins and a fresh and clean finish. Balanced and very refined. A wonderful purity and beauty. Give it three to four years to come together but already a beauty.
95 points Wine Advocate:
The blend for the 2014 Sena was 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Carmenere, 11% Malbec, 8% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot from their stony soils. The different grapes are carefully fermented separately and with different regimes of maceration and extraction but always looking for elegance within the natural power of the zone. The final blend was transferred to French oak barrels, 67% of them new (a percentage that seems to be slowly going down), for the elevage of 22 months. This time, some 5% of the volume carried out its aging in new Stockinger foudres. This is very much in line with the 2013 and the direction set by that cool year. The wine is very harmonious, elegant within the house style. Another superb vintage of Sena. This should age effortlessly in bottle. 60,000 bottles were filled in March 2016.
Chateau du Tertre 2003 波爾多五級莊 JS92/RP90
Chateau du Tertre 2003
92 points James Suckling:
This is very new world in the nose with loads of ripe, raisiny, and spicy fruit. Full bodied, with a round and chewy finish. Very extracted, but I think it will come around very well in the end.
90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
This dark ruby/purple-colored, luscious, soft, already complex 2003 offers alluring notes of smoked herbs, black cherry jam, camphor, white chocolate, and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, silky-textured, heady, and impossible to resist...
Domenico Clerico Barolo "Ciabot Mentin" Ginestra 2009 RP94/JS93/ST93/WS92/JR18
Domenico Clerico Barolo Ciabot Mentin Ginestra 2009
品種：100% nebbiolo. 年產 5500 支, 16 months barrique, constant tastings allow us to select the best barriques, then assembling barrel.
16 months in barrel (50 hL), +2 years bottles.
94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (Jun 2013):
One notch down on the intensity ladder is the 2009 Barolo Ciabot Mentin. Less obvious and definitely more flirtatious, this gorgeous wine playfully dangles subtle hints of licorice, dark fruit, anisette and Middle Eastern spice in front of your nose. They morph and transform into something new and unexpected with each swirl of the glass. There’s enough flesh here to keep the wine grounded, but there’s also enough tonic freshness to keep it from feeling heavy.
93 points James Suckling (Jan 2014):
A beautiful ripeness of fruit here with dried strawberries and sliced mushroom aromas. Full body, with polished and round tannins and a cedar, mahogany and dried berry aftertaste. Needs at least two or three years of bottle age.
93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (April 2014):
Medium red. Less roasted than the Briccotto, offering aromas and flavors of cherry, mocha, coffee and spices. Less fat and full in the mouth but shows more lift and energy. A bit youthfully clenched, but the wine's firm tannic spine and impressive length suggest it will be a beauty with a few years of aging. Despite being situated at high altitude, these are the first Barolo vines Clerico picks. The acidity here is a very healthy 6.3 grams per liter.
92 points Wine Spectator:
A fresh, vibrant red, whose eucalyptus, tea, cherry and leather notes are backed by dense, ripe tannins. Balanced on the firm side, with a coating of dusty tannins on the long finish. Give this some time. Best from 2017 through 2032.
18/20 points Jancis Robinson (Jun 2013):
Commune of Monforte d’Alba. Concentrated ruby with orange tinges. Balsamic fruitcake and cardamom skin. Fine cherry fruit with a layer of coating tannins. Intense, long and with a hint of vanilla. Quite spectacular and modernist but executed with huge skill.
Roc de Cambes 2012 (AG93/NM92)車房酒
Roc de Cambes, Cotes du Bourg 2012
93 points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous (Jan 2016):
A dark, imposing wine, the 2012 Roc des Cambes is distinctly dark and brooding. Black cherries, smoke, licorice, tar and dark spices fleshed [?]. Vertical in style and quite structured, the 2012 could use another few years in bottle to fully come together, which will also help the chewy tannins to integrate a bit more fully. Roc des Cambes is 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec that spend 18 months in 100% new French oak.
93 points Tim Atkin MW, timatkin.com, April 2013:
One of the superstar châteaux of the Bordeaux Côtes, François Mitjavile's red is always a wine with plenty of texture and concentration, not to mention alcohol in 2012. This is intense, aromatic and plush, with raspberry aromas, a hint of leafy complexity, a rich, complex texture and firmish tannins. Drink: 2020-28
90-92 points Neal Martin, RobertParker.com, May 2013:
Interesting comparing the Roc des Cambes with the Tertre-Roteboeuf, for here there is a little more drive and intensity on the nose, more volume emanating from the glass with pomegranate and cranberry scents intermingling with fresh gravel notes. The palate is soft and sensual on the entry with layers of fleshy red berry fruit. The tannins have a Burgundy-like finesse and there is a lovely touch of Schezhuan pepper numbing the tip of the tongue on the finish. This will be a fascinating Roc des Cambes.
TENUTA DI BISERNO IL Pino di Biserno 2009 Tenuta di Biserno 2nd wine
TENUTA DI BISERNO IL Pino di Biserno 2009
品種：Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot,
Il Pino is the second wine of Tenuta di Biserno in Bibbona, in the hills just north of Bolgheri. The blend includes cabernets franc and sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot, and it’s luscious, gamey and distinctive, balancing the drive and freshness of franc with the richness of merlot. The balance feels complete, suited to short-term aging.
Robert Parker: 93
The 2009 Il Pino di Biserno already shows promising signs of a happy evolution. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, the wine is redolent of dried tobacco, black currant and rain-soaked earth. It delivers balanced power and concentration that drive a long, rich finish. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025. Tenuta di Biserno is the pride and joy of Lodovico Antinori, a man with a gifted talent for selecting the best sites for growing vines along the rugged coast of Tuscany. After selling Tenuta della Ornellaia years ago, Lodovico invested much of his energy and passion here.
Wine Spectator: 90
This is suave, with polished tannins and a rich texture framing black cherry, plum and chocolate notes, showing good grip on the long finish. Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2018. 6,000 cases made.
Wine Spectator , James Suckling , October 31, 2007 "One of the big developments is the release of two vintages of a new wine from Tenuta di Biserno. Biserno is the new family-owned winery of brothers Piero and Lodovico Antinori, located just outside the appellation of Bolgheri… I find the style of the property's wines already to be a fascinating combination of Ornellaia's and Sassicaia's, emphasizing the generosity of the former and the firmness and backbone of the latter."
Chateau Lafon Rochet 2010 波爾多4級莊 NM94/WE93/WS91
Chateau Lafon Rochet 2010
67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
94 pts Neal Martin, RobertParker.com, February 2014:
Tasted blind at the Southwold Bordeaux 2010 tasting. Wow - this Saint Estèphe appears to be just getting into its stride. This seems reticent on the nose at first, but modest coaxing reveals scents of blackberry mixed with gravel and incense. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip, firm tannins and a pleasant salty tang on the finish. Masculine and structured, with good persistency and a lovely austere personality, Basile Tesseron and his team have overseen an aloof but engaging Lafon-Rochet that could be the dark horse of the appellation. Tasted January 2014.
Chateau La Croix de Gay Pomerol 2009 WE93/WA90/vivino4.1(208酒評)
Chateau La Croix de Gay Pomerol 2009
Region: Pomerol, Bordeaux, France
93 pts Wine Enthusiast:
Powerful tannins give this wine its dense, concentrated character. It is dark and dense, very dry at this stage and needing at least 10 years to round itself out. However, the presence of fruit promises a good future.
90 pts Wine Advocate:
A blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc from this well-situated vineyard on the plateau of Pomerol, which is owned by Chantal Lebreton, this wine has 13.5% alcohol, somewhat low in this vintage, but it displays plenty of kirsch, sweet cherries and red currants along with some sandy/loamy soil and roasted herb notes in a very sexy, up-front, lush, medium to full-bodied style.
Clos du Marquis 2006 雄獅副牌 JS92-94/WS92/WE91
Clos du Marquis 2006 雄獅副牌
92-94 pts James Suckling, WineSpectator.com, March 2007
Wonderful aromas of blackberries, minerals and dried flowers. Full-bodied, with a lovely core of cool fruit. Racy and caressing tannins. Excellent. 13.2 percent Cabernet Franc--more than normal. Better structured than normal, too.
92 pts Wine Spectator:
Offers violet and blackberry on the nose, with tar. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a fruity, minerally aftertaste. Long and silky. Very serious for the vintage. Best after 2013.
91 pts Wine Enthusiast :
A beautifully perfumed, dark-colored wine, bursting with black plums and violet perfumes. It is, on the surface, delicious, but taste beneath that and it becomes complex and dark, with immense but velvet tannins, suggesting considerable potential.
89+ pts Neal Martin, RobertParker.com, May 2016:
The 2006 Clos du Marquis has a typical bouquet for this cru with forward and lavish black cherries, cassis and incense aromas, perhaps more oaky than some of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with an insistent grip in the mouth. This is surprisingly backward with impressive density. You can feel the weight of black fruit in the mouth, although it needs more finesse and precision on the finish. Give this another five years and you could have a "dark horse" on your hands.
Chateau Lafleur-Gazin 2001 (vivino4.0)
Chateau Lafleur-Gazin 2000

產區：Pomerol, Bordeaux , France
88 pts Wine Advocate:
"A sweet, superficial, but attractive effort, the 2000 La Fleur-Gazin reveals chalky tannin in the finish. A dark ruby/purple color is accompanied by ripe plum, prune, and berry fruit, medium body, and plenty of structure as well as tough tannin. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2014."
Chateau d'Issan 2014 波爾多三級莊
Chateau d'issan 2014
"Giusto di Notri" Toscana 2012 來自第一支RP100分的意大利酒莊Tua Rita
Giusto di Notri Tua Rita 2012
94 points Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, September 2014:
A dark, brooding wine, the 2012 Giusto di Notri presents a compelling array of dark stone fruits, grilled herbs, smoke, tobacco and menthol. The power of Suvereto and these Bordeaux varieties are both super-expressive in a virile, imposing wine loaded with personality and gorgeous, totally resonant fruit. This is a terrific showing.
94 points James Suckling:
Gorgeous aromas of spices, from chili powder to dried thyme, plus dark fruits such as currants and berries. Full body, fine tannins and layers of fruit and flavor. Very attractive now but even better in two or three years. This commemorates the 20th anniversary of this wine. Balanced blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot.
94 points Wine Enthusiast:
Made with Cabernet and Merlot, this offers scents of cedar, black currant, graphite and aromatic herb. Notes of licorice, ground pepper and tobacco accent the core of crushed blackberry and black cherry while polished tannins provide the framework. The lingering finish ends on a tobacco note.
93 points Robert Parker:
The 2012 Giusto di Notri is an IGT Toscana blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It opens with rich, impenetrable concentration and luminous ruby highlights that shine bright against the inner darkness of this beautiful wine. Dark fruit, leather, spice, moist chewing tobacco and dark chocolate lift from the glass. The wine shows firm structure with silky tannins that render a polished texture on the finish.
Chateau de Saint Cosme Gigondas Valbelle 2009 (WS94)
Chateau de Saint Cosme Gigondas Valbelle 2009 (WS94)
Blend: 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah
#10 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2011
94 Wine Spectator : A gorgeous wine, with an interplay of ripe, dripping blackberry, cassis and plum sauce flavors providing the flesh, offset by smoldering charcoal, tobacco and bittersweet cocoa notes, which provide the angles. The long finish has nice intensity. Best from 2012 through 2022. 1,175 cases made.
Winemaker notes: We didn't release Valbelle in 2008 because the wine had been blended into the Gigondas Classique. This is nice to see Valbelle coming back in 2009 with its very specific style. It generates complexity, depth and balance. 2009 Valbelle combines well the tannic power of the vintage with the roundness and the softness always found in Valbelle. Find notes of strawberry, thyme, white pepper and graphite.

94 pts Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate (229), February 2017:
The careful selection of the grapes and the work directives even for the purchased grapes has clearly paid off in the 2013 Alión, which has great freshness and perfume. It was cropped from a relatively normal growing season, but with a cold September with some rains that provoked a slight delay in the picking and especially the seed for a severe sorting of the grapes. It's considered a challenging vintage in general, and the bottles produced are slightly less than in the healthier 2012. It's always pure Tempranillo from over 30-year-old vines in different villages: Pesquera, Padilla, Moradillo... It fermented in oak vats with indigenous yeasts after a three-day cold soak, followed by malolactic and 12-14 months in new French barriques. It might be a lighter vintage for Alión, but one that has a subtler profile and harmony. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, with a thread of acidity going through its core and lifting it up. An elegant Alión. 260,000 bottles and some larger formats were filled in May 2015.
Terra di Lavoro, Galardi 2009 WA93
Terra di Lavoro, Galardi 2009
品種：80% Aglianico, 20% Piedirosso , 年產3萬支。
93 points Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate (195), June 2011:
I suppose after so many important vintages it is only natural that Mother Nature takes a break. Terra di Lavoro is usually a huge wine in its youth, but not so in 2009. This is one of the most open, approachable young Terra di Lavoros I have ever tasted. The wine shows good intensity in its dark fruit, with layers of ash, smoke, crushed flowers and minerals that develop in the glass. The 2009 is a pretty, accessible Terra di Lavoro that will make a great introduction for readers who are new to the wine and don't want to wait for some of the more important vintages to come around. Terra di Lavoro is 80% Aglianico and 20% Piedirosso. The 2009 spent 14 months in French oak barrels, 70% new. Readers who want to see how some of the older vintages are developing may want to take a look at notes from my vertical tasting last year, published in Issue 190. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2029.
Paolo Conterno Barolo Ginestra 2009 （RP94)
Paolo Conterno Barolo Ginestra 2009
產區：Barolo, Piedmont, Italy
94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
The 2009 Barolo Ginestra is a beautiful expression of Nebbiolo. This is a strong showing from the producer’s flagship vineyard. The aromatic tension and energy delivered reminds you that this is a young wine that needs more time to unwind and relax. But all the essentials are there: Licorice, tar, dried fruit, tobacco and a pretty addition of crushed spice or cardamom. The mouthfeel is finely chiseled and sharp with tight, young tannins at the back. Anticipated maturity: 2018-2030.
Castello dei Rampolla “Sammarco” 2011 JS95/Vinous 95/ WA94/WS92/vivino4.1(221酒評)
Castello dei Rampolla “Sammarco” 2011
Region: Chianti, Toscana, Italy
95 pts James Suckling (Aug 2015):
Aromas of tar, chilis, raspberries and dark chocolate follow through to a full body with super velvety tannins and a long, long finish. Need three years to soften. Another superb blend of sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon from the organic estate in Panzano.
94 pts Wine Advocate (Oct 2015):
The fullness and generosity here is absolutely amazing. The 2011 Sammarco is one of the protagonists of this vintage. In fact, I think Sammarco represents the hot 2011 growing season better than any other wine from the Chianti Classico area. The bend this year is 94% Sangiovese with 6% Merlot (the breakdown between the two grapes is usually 90-10) and the wine is fermented with ambient yeasts. The bouquet is beautifully redolent of dark berry fruit, soft spice, licorice and cola. The wine's overall elegance and length are both impressive.
95 pts Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, October 2015:
The 2011 Sammarco is so youthful it almost tastes like a barrel sample! Dark, rich and inviting, the 2011 possesses notable concentration and depth, with round yet powerful tannins and a surprising level of freshness for the year. A host of black cherry, graphite, smoke, plum and lavender notes accompany the powerful finish. It will be quite some time before the 2011 is ready to drink, but there is plenty to look forward to.
Chateau Rouget Pomerol 2005 WS92/WA90/vivino4.3(105酒評）
Chateau Rouget 2005
Region: Pomerol, Bordeaux, France
92 pts Wine Spectator:
There's beautiful aromas of violet and other flowers, with fruity undertones. Full-bodied, with round, polished tannins that caress the palate. Long and very balanced. Harmonious. Best after 2012. 2,915 cases made.
90 pts Wine Advocate:
The Burgundy firm of Jacques Prieur, who now owns this Pomerol estate, has fashioned an outstanding 2005 from one of the less prestigious terroirs of the appellation. It is a richly fruit, exuberant, flamboyant wine offering a sensual display of black cherries, sandy, loamy soil, subtle herbs, and spice. Lusciously textured with no astringency, it can be consumed now and over the next 10-12 years.
Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 2007 WE95/WA93
Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino 2007
95 points Wine Enthusiast:
This 2007 Brunello is a big, opulent pleasure bomb with lavish layers, loaded thickly on top of each other: Chocolate fudge, dark cherry, blackberry preserves, rum cake, prune, exotic spice, pipe tobacco, cola, hummus and leather. It shows huge personality, intensity and staying power too. All that density is backed by solid tannins and a steady firmness. Hold 10–15 more years. Editors' Choice
93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino bursts from the glass with freshly cut flowers, violets, leather, licorice and black cherries. Firm underlying tannins lend vibrancy to the voluptuous fruit. The Casanova di Neri straight bottling – sometimes referred to as the “white label” – is made from some of the estate’s cooler sites. In 2007 the wine has more depth, fruit and overall harmony than is typically the case. Bright acidity frames the long, polished finish. In short, this is a fabulous wine from Giacomo Neri. Along with the 2006, the 2007 is one the best and most complete vintages I can remember tasting in some time. Most importantly of all, though, it is flat-out delicious. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2027.
Montevetrano 2007 AG95/WA94+ “Sassacaia of the South.”
品種：Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Aglianico
Robert Parker 形容為“Sassacaia of the South.”
95 points Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate (190), August 2010:
The 2007 Montevetrano is the product of an unusual vintage characterized by hot temperatures that were virtually uninterrupted throughout the year. Bright red fruit, flowers and spices are some of the nuances that emerge from this silky, beautifully balanced Montevetrano. The combination of explosive ripe fruit, richness and finesse is utterly breathtaking. The warmth of the vintage comes through in the wine's generosity, yet there are no suggestions whatsoever of over- ripeness. This is a magnificent Montevetrano. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2032.
94+ points Monica Larner, Wine Advocate (232), August 2017:
The 2007 Montevetrano suggests a more prominent presence of Cabernet Sauvignon, aromatically speaking, compared to the other wines in this mini retrospective. The percentage of grapes used is the same but this impression is reinforced by the warmth of the summer growing season and the exuberance of the fruit. Blackberry aromas are followed by spice, leather and tar. There are subtle notes of balsam herb and green peppercorn as well. The wine is structured and firm but not astringent. The tannins are softly integrated and fine in texture.
